Istituto Marangoni
Istituto Marangoni was founded in 1935 in Milan as ‘Istituto Artistico dell’abbigliamento Marangoni’ and in 2015 it reached a special milestone – 80 years of history and success in training the leading professionals in Fashion and Design. Istituto Marangoni prides itself for educating four generations of students from 5 continents and launching 45,000+ professionals in fashion and luxury fields – industry leaders such as Domenico Dolce, Franco Moschino, Alessandro Sartori, Maurizio Pecoraro, Paula Cademartori, Andrea Pompilio, Lucio Vanotti, Rahul Mishra and Dhruv Kapoor are all distinguished alumni of the institute.
The Institute currently has campuses located in Milan, Florence, Paris, London, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Mumbai and Miami, which train 4,000 students from 107 countries annually.
Istituto Marangoni’s Mumbai School of Fashion and Design is the institute’s 7th location. Located at Worli, the Mumbai campus sits at the cusp of the city’s commercial and cultural hubs. With its cosmopolitan culture, vibrant cinema and burgeoning fashion industry, Mumbai was a natural choice to set up Istituto Marangoni’s first campus in India.
