Candidates need to four different sections for effective preparation of NIFT entrance exam 2021. These four sections include general ability test, creative ability test, situation test, and group discussion (GD) and personal interview (PI).

General Ability Test (GAT)

In GAT, candidates will get questions from a total of six distinct sections. These include the following:

• Quantitative Ability: This sub-test will comprise of questions from Distance, Ration ad Proportion, Work and Task, Fractions, Rate of Interest, Percentage, Division, Multiplication, and Addition.
• English Comprehension: In this sub-test, candidates will get a passage and they need to answer the questions based on their understanding of it with their comprehension skills.
• Communication Ability: The questions of this sub-test will revolve around the use of English in day-to-day communication involving correct spellings, idioms and phrases, one-word substitutions, antonyms, numbers, synonyms, and words with corresponding meanings.
• Analytical Ability: This sub-test will comprise of questions related to analytical reasoning.
• Current Affairs and General Knowledge (GK): This sub-test will feature questions from the current affairs and other aspects of general knowledge.
• Case Study: This sub-test will assess managerial skills of candidates based on the case study of an industry. Candidates will need to study it carefully and then answer the questions using their managerial skills.

As is the case with most competitive examinations, an examinee’s a candidate’s NIFT entrance exam preparations decide their chances of cracking the entrance exam for NIFT.

The question paper isn’t too difficult but a candidate needs to be well-versed in creative skills or abilities to do well in it. Most aspirants either join NIFT coaching classes or rely on self-study or adopt both these approaches to do well.
