Presently, NIFT is accepting admissions to the following graduate and post-graduate programs in Fashion design, Management, and Technology through its 17 campuses in the country.

Note (*): Candidates can choose from six different specialisations (Apparel, Accessory, Communication, Textile, and Leather & Knitwear Design.

The fee structure at NIFT campuses for all NIFT programs in 2022 is:

The fee mentioned above structure for different NIFT courses is only for the academic year 2022-2023. It must be noted that the fees for Indian students get increased by 10 per cent every year while the fees for NRI students get increased by 5 per cent every year.

The only medium of instructions at the National Institute of Fashion Technology campuses for exams and teaching is English. The language for CAT, GAT, Situation Test, Group discussion, and Personal interview is also English.

NIFT does offer centralised placement to all its students for all disciplines and centres.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology does provide residential accommodation for girls at most of its campuses that are spread across the country. The hostels of NIFT operate at a no-profit and no-loss framework and are characterised by facilities such as round-the-clock security, doctor-on-call, indoor and outdoor games, and television.

NIFT campuses that have accommodation for both boys and girls: Jodhpur, Mumbai, Chennai, and Rae Bareilly. There is no residential facility on campus at New Delhi.

NIFT campuses that have accommodation for girls only: Gandhinagar, Hyderabad, Kangra, Kannur, Kolkata, Patna, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, and Shillong.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology will not be conducting any interviews in 2022 of candidates who are seeking admission to the BDes or BFTech programs. However, NIFT will conduct personal interviews for admission in 2021 to the MDes, MFTech and MFM programs.

In accordance with rules of Government of India, citizens get reservation of seats on the basis of following categories:

• General seats reservation is 50.5%.
• SC seat reservation is 15%.
• OBC-NC seat reservation is 27%.
• ST seat reservation is 7.5%.
