The orientation program conducted by Silica at the beginning of the year gave an insight into the approach needed to attempt the entrance exams of various colleges The practice tests conducted by silica towards the end of the classes also helped a lot, in terms of exposure to different kinds of paper patterns and questions . The course was really helpful in grasping basic concepts. Our basics in line work, perspective, and texture were strengthened. Exposure to new materials and methods and systematic analysis of our work helped us to know our strengths and weak points. The various tests and exhibition kept us in a competitive mode and made us work better. The only thing was that in competition there was so much of variety and may be work done in collaborations that it became a bit confusing for us. The situation tests and especially the mock interviews were a great booster.

I also joint design classes at SILICA When actually design & Architecture classes got separate & I came to know about design in detail; I was so passionate to get into NID . I never thought of securing a good rank in NIFT, for me it’s like on unexpected dream come true. But this possible only because I joined SILICA and was properly prepared by them for the respective entrance exam.

I was good at paintings and drawing but when I completed by 10th Std., I was totally blank that what next? I always wanted to make my career in designing world, but how? Then one of my friend gave me reference of SILICA. SILICA provided me with proper guidance about the various designing institutes, the entrance exams, the preparations for the respective entrance exams and so on. It was not like a typical class when the teachers used to teach and the students used to do so. I loved to attend it because it provided me with a different world of design.
