Lovely Professional University (LPU) offers degree, diploma and certificate programmes to aspirants at the undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) levels. The university was established in 2005 by Lovely International Trust, under The Lovely Professional University Act, 2005 and started operation in 2006.
The Admission Process is as follows :

LPU NEST for design courses is of 150 minutes and consists of 100 multiple choice questions (MCQ) of the objective type

Eligibility Criteria for UG Programmes :
B.Des, B.Sc :
50% aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent, subject to valid score in LPUNEST or Qualifying UCEED (upto 5562 Rank)
OR
In case marks scored in 10+2 are 70% or above, then LPUNEST or UCEED will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission directly
B.Plan :
50% aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent, subject to valid score in LPUNEST or Qualifying UCEED (upto 5562 Rank)
B.Arch :
60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English and Maths) or Diploma (any stream) (3 years) recognized by Central/ State Govt. (with Mathematics), subject to qualifying marks as per NATA 2018 or qualifying marks in any specially designed aptitude test in Architecture conducted by Central/ State Governments e.g. JEE (Main) Paper II.
B.Sc.(Fashion) :
50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent, subject to valid score in LPUNEST or Qualifying UCEED (upto 5562 Rank)
OR
In case marks scored in 10+2 are 70% or above, then LPUNEST or UCEED will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission directly
B.Des (Fashion) :
50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent, subject to the score in LPUNEST or Qualifying UCEED (upto 5562 Rank)

M.Des (Product & Industrial) :
50% aggregate marks in B.Arch. or B.Sc. (Interior Design) or B.Design (Interior) or B.Construction Management or B.Tech. (ME or CE) or equivalent
M.Des (Interior & Furniture) :
50% aggregate marks in B.Arch. or B.Sc. (Interior Design) or B.Design (Interior) or B.Construction Management or B.Tech. (ME or CE) or equivalent
M.Arch :
50% aggregate marks in B.Arch. or equivalent
M.Plan :
50% aggregate marks in B.Arch. or B. Plan. or B.Tech. (Civil Engineering or Planning) or Masters Degree in (Geography or Sociology or Economics) or equivalent
M.Des (Fashion) :

UG Fees :
For B.Des & B.SC.(Design) Approx. Rs. 65,000 - 75,000 Per Semester
