WLCI was established with the prime objective of bridging the gap between education and employment that is faced by most Indian students. Application & Admission Process


The admission process follows a comprehensive evaluation of the candidate through a Creative Aptitude Test and Personal Interview in order to ascertain their aptitude and suitability for the course.


Step 1: Creative Aptitude Test

  • The Creative Aptitude Test aims to assess the candidate’s creative aptitude and ability in their respective fields.
  • The test is administered to assess specific skills of the candidates such as power of observation, innovation design and drawing abilities.
  • An important aspect of the test is to assess the candidate’s usage of color and illustration.
  • Candidates are tested for general knowledge pertaining to their field of interest.
  • The candidate’s performance in this test is an important factor to ascertain his/her suitability for the course.

Step 2: Personal Interview

  • The personal interview is a detailed assessment of the candidate’s suitability to join the course. They are assessed on creative ability (Portfolio, Hand Skills/Writing Skills), Grooming, Communication Skills and attitude.
  • During the personal interview, the student’s portfolio and creative Aptitude tests are discussed.

Step 3: Post Interview Counselling

  • At this stage, the candidate is given detailed information of the career pathways, fee structure and the payment plan.
  • The candidate is also given opportunity to clarify any doubt regarding the course and the institution.

WLCI Aptitude Test is divided in two parts :

1. Creative Aptitude Test (CAT)

  • In this written exam, the intuitive ability, power of observation in concept development and design ability of the candidate is judged.
  • Aspirants are also tested on creative and innovative use of colour and illustration skills.

2. General Aptitude Test (GAT)

  • Total questions asked in WLCI Aptitude Test GAT are 100.
  • The language of the written test is English and the test duration is 60 minutes.
  • This test comprises of four sections: Quantitative Ability, Communication Ability, Analytical Ability and General Knowledge and Current Affairs.
  • Each section is comprised of 25 questions.
