India is poised for growth in almost all the fields and it is increasingly expected to compete globally in delivery of goods and services as per international standards. With a view to respond to this need through education, training, and research, World University of Design (WUD) has been established to accelerate the take-up of design in industrial and innovation activities at regional and national level.

Note: Students with valid score/rank in CEED, UCEED, NID & NIFT can apply and directly appear for personal interview. It is advised to appear in WUD’s entrance exam to be eligible (or increase your prospects) for merit-based scholarships.

École Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Industries Textiles (ENSAIT) - is a 130 year old institution that is considered the leading textile trainer responsible for educating 75% of all Masters in Textile in France.

Besides exchanges, WUD also invites professors of Design from around the world to come and teach at WUD. In the last year alone Prof. Mark Watson from RMIT Australia and Prof. Joel Peterson from Swedish College of Textiles have held workshops of up to 2 weeks at WUD.
